Delete your Lumi account

Section 1

Delete it in the app

• Open Lumi and sign in.
• Go to the Profile tab and scroll to Support & privacy.
• Tap Delete my account, then confirm.

Lumi deletes your account and then erases what it kept on that phone. If it cannot reach our server, nothing is deleted and it tells you, so you can try again.

Section 2

Ask us by email

If you have uninstalled Lumi or cannot sign in, write to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Lumi account”. Send it from the email address you signed in with, or include the phone number or Google account you used, so we can find your account and confirm the request is yours.

We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Lumi is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 18 has a Lumi account, write to the same address; we delete a child's data as soon as we learn of it.

Section 3

What is deleted

• Your sign-in account (email, phone number or Google link).
• Your skin profile and onboarding answers.
• Your reports, scan history and routine.
• Face photos kept in your private cloud storage, if you had turned it on.
• Lumi's memory of your chat conversations and ratings.
• On the phone you delete from: everything Lumi saved there, including face photos, streak and saved products.

Section 4

What may be kept

• Product requests you made in search (the product name you typed) may be kept without your name, to decide which products to add.
• Usage analytics linked to your account ID may remain with our analytics provider for its retention period. [CONFIRM: delete the Mixpanel profile when an account is deleted]
• Emails you sent us are kept only as long as needed to answer them, or as the law requires.
• If you used Lumi on another phone, the data saved on that phone stays there until you sign out or uninstall Lumi on it.
